今朝、私は友人に

This morning I was woken up by my friend and 

朝5:50分に起こされて握手会の会場へと向かった。

went to a hand shake event.

3時間20分前だというのにもかかわらず、

Even though it was 3hours and 20 minutes before the event

私と私の友人の前に会場にいる人が3人いた。

there were 3 people already waiting before us.

システムとしてはCDを買い、そこで握手券とトークを見るための

The system was like this. You buy a CD and you can get a handshaking ticket

優先席？みたいなやつの券がもらえるみたいだった。

and a ticket to watch the idol’s talk show.

会場はイオンモールで日曜日だったため、

The venue was at a shopping mall and it was Sunday so,

会場が開くのを待っている間、私は外国人の英語の先生や

while we were waiting until the venue opens I met my foreign English teacher,

塾の生徒、学校などの知り合いに出くわしてしまった。

students from my part time job, and friends from school.

私は「友人が良い優先席の券を得られるために駆り出されていた」と

I didn’t have the chance to say ”I came for my friend to get a good ticket number for the talk show”

弁解することもできずオタクだと勘違いされてしまったに違いない。

so I’m pretty sure that every one thought I’m a fan of that idol.

私は確かに最近アイドルのオタクになったが、グループが違うので

The truth is that recently I became a fan of an idol group but It’s not this one

解せないのであった。

so, It feels kind of weird
